WHAT:
- While at Freedom House, you will be working closely with refugees from various countries from around the world (mostly African). During your two hour volunteer shift you will practice your clinical skills by performing basic physicals on the residents (patient history + reading blood pressure.) You will also give a short presentation on general health: diet, exercise, disease, etc.

WHEN:
- Freedom House volunteering takes place on Mondays or Tuesdays, from 7 pm - 9 pm, throughout the year.
- Committment is once a month (you can take off bi-weekly)

I don't have time to make a presentation from scrap, what am I supposed to talk about?
- We've got you covered! The presentation is made for you and will be emailed to you and placed in your mailboxes before
you show up. All you need to do is glance over it before you get to Freedom House.

Are the physicals & presentations all done during one visit, or do I have to come back twice?
- There is only one visit (not 2) and the presentation and BP screening are the same visit

Do I get co-curricular credit for this?
- 2 hours of volunteering counts as 2 hours of co-curricular credit

Does this count as an event for my WHSO trip?

This also counts as 1 of the 5 events for the trip go-ers
